Without surgery:

A simple filling is permanent and does not require recovery in the clinic when it has been done.

Without discomfort:

The enlargement of the lips without surgery is achieved by injecting them with highly biocompatible and stable filling materials. The look is completely natural and the lips do not alter with time or notice to the touch.

We manage to improve the thickness and shape of the lips, lift the angle of the lips when fallen and correct the wrinkles of the upper lip.

Using surgery we include these interventions in the treatment group of ‘Facial Modelling’, but we avoid the actual tendency of many famous people to choose implants that make them look deformed, as we see in the popular press.

Plastic interventions:

We move tissue from the same lip from one side to other to increase the volume and height of the red part of the lip, which gives good results.

Grafts:

We tend to carry these out when operating on other areas, which can serve as the donor. Other tissues can also be used, although we no longer recommend fat, because the oedema produced is severe and the re-absorption in this area is practically total.

Implants:

• Artecoll is the present equivalent to silicone. A test should be carried out because it contains collagen. To avoid the formation of fibrosis it is better not to attempt a fast enlargement but to do it in several sessions.

• Goretex is reliable and very useful for outlining the edges of the lip. Hyaluronic Acid, not of animal origin, is amongst the most used substances, and lasts from six months to one year.

• Aquamid is also a revolutionary cosmetic product. It is a gel that is injected subcutaneously with a very fine needle giving an immediate effect, and is an easy alternative to surgery.
