With the
passing of time the skin ages,
showing cutaneous flaccidity and
wrinkles.
Recent
research, centred in trying to
find the best way to recover the
vitality of the skin, has
discovered that the application
of intradermal heat increases
the production of collagen,
which improves wrinkles and
flaccidity.
Two types of
energy have been used for the
thermal modification of the
conjunctive tissue of the skin:
laser energy and radiofrequency.
In contrast with the laser rays,
which are absorbed by the skin
cromophores (depending on the
type of skin), the
Radiofrequency Therma fine
depends on the resistance
characteristic of the tissues,
independently of the type of
skin. Although RF has been in
use in medicine for over 70
years, only recent developments
have made possible their use to
deliver energy selectively to
the deep dermis and the sub
dermal layers, whilst protecting
the epidermis.Some examples:

The
Radiofrequency produces a very
efficient thermal effect in
biological tissues. The
technology of heating for
cosmetic medicine has
proliferated recently, and there
is now equipment capable of
carrying out the lifting effect
by heating the dermis available
in the market.
This system
uses third generation
radiofrequency technology, based
on a completely different method
to that of the previous
radiofrequency systems.
