THE USE OF
DIAMONDS TO CARRY OUT
MICRODERMOABRASION IS THE LATEST
TREATMENT FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF
COMMON SKIN COMPLAINTS
This
treatment consists of a fast
exfoliation, a removal of the
dead cells of the corneal layer,
the most superficial section of
the skin. It achieves similar
effects to peeling but in a more
smooth, safe, precise and
progressive manner, allowing the
patient an immediate return to
normal activity. This has
apparently been called “the
lunchtime treatment”. It is a
painless procedure, which does
not require anaesthesia,
hospitalization or special care
following treatment.
Also called
mechanical peeling, the
microdermoabrasion constitutes a
good alternative in the
provision of luminosity to the
face. It consists in the
controlled application of a jet
of micro crystals, which produce
an exfoliant effect, so
regularising the imperfections
of the cutaneous micro-relief,
giving the skin a younger and
healthier aspect and leaving it
in optimum condition, even ready
to have other complementary
treatments.
It polishes
the superficial layer of the
skin using diamond dust. This
technique is indicated for
patients with thick skin, who
present depressed scars (caused
by accidents, surgery or acne),
cutaneous marks and facial
wrinkles. It is also used as a
complement to facial lifting.
The patient
can return to the usual daily
activities immediately after
treatment. All that is required
is hydration and solar
protection.
It is indicated for:
-
Skins
that are atrophic, dry, with
loss of elasticity, greasy.
-
Aged
skins damaged by sun
exposure.
-
To
improve the appearance and
quality of the skin
-
To
minimise spots and small
wrinkles
-
To reduce
open pores
-
To
eliminate blackheads
-
To
improve scars
-
Generally
it improves the health of
the skin returning it to its
natural colour.
-
It
eliminates the dullness of
tone, revitalising the
appearance of the skin.
-
It can
also be used before the
application of any active
substance used in
dermatology for the
regeneration of the skin.
The treatment
time is 30 to 50 minutes and
does not require anaesthesia.
The number of treatments varies
with each patient. The effects
are gradual and several sessions
are required, depending on the
type of skin, the problem to be
treated, age, etc., but usually
after the first treatment the
patient notices a significant
improvement.
