INTIMATE SURGERY OR VAGINAL REJUVENATION

These are terms applied to a series of surgical procedures used to resolve functional or aesthetic problems of the female genital region.

Labiaplasty

Also called plasty of the labia minora, or nymph-plasty. It is carried out to reduce the size of the labia minora and is indicated in those women who, for a congenital cause (from birth) or from later problems, have hypertrophic (excessively large) labia minora; they hang down, or are asymmetric (unequal).

Vaginal rejuvenation

Women can suffer a loss of firmness and tone in the vagina, as a result of deliveries and age, and therefore see and feel themselves as having a very wide internal and external vaginal diameter This can interfere with their sensuality and sexual enjoyment.

The vaginal rejuvenation or vaginoplasty is a procedure to reconstruct the vagina and the perineum (the posterior area of the vagina)., resulting in a narrower vagina and stronger pelvic floor, which increases the friction during sexual relations, thus increasing the pleasure of the couple.

Hymen reconstruction

Some women wish to restore their hymen, due to psychological reasons, for example following a rape or accidental trauma, and also for religious or cultural reasons.

Vulvar lipoplasty

It consists in diminishing or increasing the size of the external genital area to achieve the aesthetic appearance desired.
