PLASTIC AND COSMETIC
SURGERY > Liposculpture |
|
CMH is the
only Medical Centre which
performs integral liposculpture
using the Hilu Bioplasty Method,
in which our specialist surgeon
not only carries out artistic
surgery, searching for an
equilibrium of the contours, as
if he were shaping a sculpture,
but also concerns himself with
continuously regulating and
maintaining the equilibrium of
the body of the patient. Some
types of surgery, such as
liposculpture, in which the
patient can loose, together with
the fat, a large quantity of
liquid and mineral substances,
require a technique that
provides security, equilibrium
and control over the functioning
of the body. This is what the
Hilu Method of Bioplasty
liposculpture provides, with the
object of achieving a safer,
minimally invasive surgery, with
which it is not only possible to
obtain the best results, but
also to regulate and maintain
continuously the equilibrium of
the patient’s body functions in
a biological and natural way.
Liposculpture and regenerative
plastic bio-surgery
integrate biotechnologies and
the use of biological substances
before, during and after the
surgical intervention.
Later on we
will point out the advantages
of this type of surgery and the
protocol included in it.

WHAT
ADVANTAGES DOES THE HILU
METHOD OFFER IN THIS TYPE OF
SURGERY?
-
Preoperative integral
evaluation from the
cellular standpoint.
-
The
correction of
deficiencies and
imbalances.
-
Minimally invasive
surgical procedures.
-
Use
of biomaterials and
autologous cellular
treatment.
-
Anaesthetic with
bio-medication to reduce
its toxicity and side
effects and
anti-inflammatory bio-
medication.
-
A
better neuroendocrine,
metabolic and immune
system response.
-
Reduction of the
inflammatory processes.
-
Healing acceleration
using skin regenerating
bio-stimulators.
-
Reduction of the
recovery time.
-
Maintenance of results
in the short, medium and
long term
WHAT
PROTOCOLS ARE INTEGRATED IN
THE HILU METHOD OF
LIPOSCULPTURE?
The
control and follow-up of the
patient is thorough and
continuous until his
complete recovery, which
takes place in three main
phases:
PHASE
1, PREOPERATIVE:
Multidimensional biomedical
study, which identifies the
active and passive processes
which are either unbalanced
or likely to become so and,
which could produce surgical
complications. This
knowledge would allow their
correction prior to surgery.
PHASE
2, SURGERY:
-
Surgery assisted by
intelligent devices and
systems.
-
Biomaterials and tissue
engineering.
-
Bio-adaptable implants
at tissue level.
-
Anaesthesia complemented
with bio-medication and
biomolecular sensors.
PHASE
3, POSTOPERATIVE:
-
Pain
control by biological
markers.
-
Biological markers to
reduce analgesic
medication.
-
Enzymatic medication for
control
IS
THIS SURGERY MORE EXPENSIVE
THAN CONVENTIONAL SURGERY?
The
difference is minimal, but
the security infinitely
greater.
The cost
of this surgery will be
determined by the parts of
the body to be treated, as
with conventional surgery,
and should be evaluated by
the surgeon at the
informative consultation,
when he will also advise
you.
DOES
LIPOSCULPTURE LEAVE SCARS?
The scars
produced by the introduction
of the cannulas can be
measured in millimetres and
are therefore hardly
visible. The incisions are
carried out in strategic
places, which makes them
difficult to see. With time
these very small scars
disappear.
This is a
technique carried out in
particular areas of the
abdomen, female genitals,
thighs, neck, hips, etc.,
dramatically changing the
shape, by eliminating
localised fat deposits,
without touching the
muscles.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
LIPOSUCTION AND
LIPOSCULPTURE
Many
patients with an
accumulation of fat can only
lose it by the use of this
surgical method. The term
liposculpture is used when
the body contour is modified
in a generalised way by the
combination of liposuction
and lipoinjection (injection
of the fat extracted). For
example, liposuction is
performed on the hips,
abdomen and thighs and the
extracted fat is injected in
the gluteal region. On
average 50% of the injected
fat will remain.
The
purpose is to obtain the
artistic remodelling of the
body to give it the
appropriate shape, reducing
the fat where it is in
excess and placing it in the
parts where the body needs
it to appear more pleasing.
In order
to carry out liposuction of
several small areas or of
one large area, local
anaesthesia is generally the
choice. If, on the other
hand, a large quantity of
fat is going to be removed
from different parts of the
body, general anaesthesia is
preferable. Using the Hilu
Bioplasty Method, it is
possible to reduce the
amount of anaesthesia,
obtaining the same results
and reducing the side
effects and the anaesthetic
toxicity to the body.
There are
different kinds of
liposuction, such as deep,
superficial, tumescent,
ultrasonic, etc. Each
patient requires a different
type of liposuction and it
cannot be said that one
method is better than
another. The type of
liposuction used will be
determined by the
requirements of the patient.
The free
informative consultation
with our surgeon is
essential to ensure that the
patient is fully informed
and advised. The patient
will therefore feel safe,
well looked after and in the
best professional hands.
